Handmade in Portugal, the Low Seed Runner is made from high quality vegetable tanned suede, organic canvas, and is accompanied by a recycled rubber sole as well as organic canvas lining.
Ekn footwear was founded as a viable alternative for a global footwear industry flooded with poorly fabricated synthetic shoes, harmful both to the environment and the people involved – fabrication workers and consumers. Therefore Ekn are not afraid to take responsibility for everyone involved in the process and experience of making, shipping and wearing our products. Each shoe is handmade by experienced Portuguese craftsmen, using biological materials – vegetable tanned lather, organic cotton, and recycled rubber – from the highest quality suppliers. There are zero harmful chemicals used in manufacturing process. Every style is produced in limited quantities to ensure minimal environmental impact and maximum attention to detail.
