Screenwave International Film Festival (SWIFF) is Australia’s largest regional film festival. The festival has surged in popularity since its founding eight years ago and has now taken its place on the Australian film festival circuit, adding a new voice as a nationally significant, regionally based film festival.
SWIFF runs for a marathon 16 consecutive days across multiple venues, with 2023 dates being 20 April – 5 May. This is our yearly dose of extraordinary cinema and other fantastic local events…like the Swiff Storyland! A one day playground of live music and art (date TBA).
Emporium Bellingen have been proud supporters of SWIFF for the last 8 years and we’re very excited that the Bellingen Memorial Hall will reopen as a venue for this year’s event!…hope to see you there.
